Where your stuff lives
- Your business’s information — your customer contacts, your conversations, your hours and prices, your billing — is stored in Canadian data centres in Montreal. It does not leave Canada.
- The Svas AI app (this website and your dashboard) runs on Canadian servers in Toronto.
- The voice AI itself currently runs on US servers. Recordings are copied back to our Canadian storage within 60 seconds, and the US-side copy is deleted within 7 days. We’re working on moving voice fully into Canada.
How it’s protected
- Bank-grade encryption everywhere — both during sending and when stored on disk.
- Separate encryption keys for every shop, locked in a Canadian key vault.
- Two-factor login (coming with public launch). Magic-link email login means no passwords to leak.
Privacy law
- We follow Canada’s federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and Quebec’s Law 25. If you have a Quebec address we add the extra disclosures.
- We’re working toward SOC 2 Type I (an independent security audit) by 2027 — useful if you eventually pitch larger commercial customers who ask.
Your control
You own your data. Export everything any time from Settings → Export. Cancel and ask us to delete it — we’ll have it wiped within 30 days (or 7 days if it’s urgent for legal reasons).
